WEF Weeks 5 & 6

    Week 5 was another big week for ESP Farm. With Rachel in the irons, Meridian won two classes in the USHJA 3' Hunter out of a strong field of 45.  Lissa Bachner rode Meridian in the Adult Amateur Middle Section A winning an over fences class and picking up ribbons in the rest of the division. Emerson also competed in the Adult Amateur Middle Section A division, collecting a first and three thirds in the over fences classes.  The talented hunter also picked up two seconds in the over fences classes in the USHJA Hunter 3'.
     Other ribbon winners of the week included Rachel McMullen in the equitation, Cakebread and Anna Rossi in the 3' hunters as well as the 3'3" WEF Open Hunter division. Whitney Lind found success in the $1,500 Adult Jumper 18-35 placing sixth out of 28 entries. Other hunters to put ribbons in the tackroom included Royale, Le Caro, Carnaval Elite, Rodanthe, FaceTime, and North Face.
     During Week 6 top ribbon winners included Royale, who bested a field of 36 to win the USHJA 2'6" Hunter class, and North Face, who collected a second with David Kratz out of 38 entries in the Florida Low Adult 2'6" Hunter Classic and a third in the Low Adult Hunter 2'6" over fences class out of 41.  Week 7 proved to be successful for the jumper riders at ESP. Rachel Perry and Baluga topped the Low Child/Adult training Jumper out of 28 horses. Baluga also earned a fourth and a fifth in the division. Whitney Lind and Wanant won the $1,500 Adult Jumper 18-35 1.1m class. Makaylin Shoop and Krushendo finished tenth out of a huge field of 65 entries in the $1500 Low Child/Adult Jumper Classic.   Hunter ribbon winners for the week included the Five-Year-Old Young Hunter 3' FaceTime, Timberline and Meridian, who finished tenth in the $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby - Pro, out of a field of 38.  Whitney Lind and Carnaval Elite finished 11th out of 32 In the Junior/Amateur $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby .
